Membership
Round-Up Band is open to students in grades 7, 8, and 9. Instrumentalists are expected to have at least one year of experience on their instrument, and must be enrolled in their school music program. Exceptions are made for home-schooled students or those attending a school with no music program. Students interested in Colour Guard are not required to be enrolled in their school music program. No experience is required, although dance or gymnastics training can be an asset.
There is no audition required for membership; however space may be limited in some sections.
A Parent Information Meeting for potential members and parents of the Calgary Round-Up Band will be held on Mondays, May 17 and August 30, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at the Cardel Theatre (NEW location-180 Quarry Park Blvd SE). Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact us at 403.259.3120 to reserve a spot. This evening will provide more information about the Calgary Round-Up Band and how we operate and offers the oportunity to ask questions and experience part of a marching band rehearsal. If you are unable to attend please call to reserve a seat for Monday, August 30 (Cardel Theatre, 18 Quarry Park Blvd SE, 7:00 - 8:30 PM).

Membership Information Registration Form and Membership Deposit must be received by the first rehearsal, September 16, 2010. Late registrations will be accepted based on spots still available in the band. Reserve your spot today!
